A statue of Lord Ganesh that locals pray for matters of romance and good fortune, or so I heard a long time ago. That probably explained why lots of ladies are praying to him. So I decided to give a try and prayed for fortune in romance. Only one guy besides myself actually genuinely prayed to him, excluding Aaron who only wanted to take a photo of himself praying.
The statue was beautiful and plenty of offerings from his worshipers. Even passerbys would pay their respect by taking a bow before they go their busy way.
Students running some sort of campaign in Bangkok. We couldn't understand the message across but its definitely very interesting to see students flocking all over to spread that message.
Xian gave me two soccer star keychains and a Naruto sticker sheet. Do I look like a soccer fan!? But he wrapped his present nicely, and I appreciate the effort.
Jun Jie gave me a metal skateboard keychain and a round thingie that I forgot what it's called, that can hook onto other things.
My favourite present is the ones Jun Jie got, useful and nice.
Who knows, she might become really famous in the future. =D
It happened when we were leaving the school, they surrounded the bus. Loads of em, waving good-byes, probably just wanted to take part in the excitement. So I told em to point middle fingers and pose for my camera.
I couldn't stop laughing the whole way back, but my friends don't exactly find it amusing. Haha..

Sitting In the Office:
In the office, always sit with the wall behind you if you seek co-operation and support of colleagues. Sitting with your back to people or a door can signify 'backstabbing', betrayal and lack of support. It is always the best that if a male and a female colleague sit opposite facing one-another. This is always seemed a balance in the 'yin' and 'yang' energy. Less conflict will occur often.
It is not advised to sit facing opposite with a female colleague who is 6 years older or younger than you. Conflicts and arguments will occur frequently.
Love in an Office:
It is always not advised to fall in love with someone who is working or sitting in the same office. Chances of development to deeper relationships are rare. This is due to the fire element in feng shui in an office. However, unless the male colleague is sitting right in front of the female colleague where the female colleague is sitting at the back facing the wall. If you like a male/female colleague who is sitting right in front of you (opposite face-to-face), a chance of success is rare.
Feng Shui for Romance
This is specially Tips & Hints for those who are busy searching for a life-partner.
Never place your own single photo in your bedroom. Most singles likes to do it. It is always advice to remove it as soon as possible if you are at the age of marriage. This seriously causes 'sha' qi in your romance life. You stay and sleep in your bedroom every night and the 'sha' qi to your romance became an object. This causes a loneliness and tiredness in your romance. You always feel either unsafe or afraid of getting to start a relationship.
Never hang your own photo above your bed on the wall. You will never have the good feeling over any opposite sex. Hence, you will never have a good relationship. If you like to place a photo, you can choose to place a group photo, family photo or a photo taken with friends or siblings.
You will soon have a chance to change it to a photo taken with your lover or husband.
Never put on a red color bed sheet. (Refer to those only red colors without any floral designs or pictures) This usually works well with couples and creates more romance between the two of them. Never ever place fish tank in a bedroom. It is not advice to do that.
Never sleep in front of a mirror. It reflects your image. This will lead to an unsuccessful relationship where your partner may change his/her heart easily.
Never place any sharp objects on the writing table or anywhere in your bedroom when sleeping. It is advised to keep them in your drawer. When you are sleeping, your 'yang' qi is lower; the sharp objects will damage or lower your 'Yang' qi the next day. Hence you will always look restless even you have an 8 hours sleep. You properly do not have the mood or energy to woo at girls. For the ladies, you properly lose your mood to pay more attention at the guy that you admire. Soon, you will lose the motivation of starting to get to know him/her more.
For those working, it is advice to take a bath on every morning before you go to work. You will look fresh and most of your 'yin' qi will be washed away by the water element. Hence, you feel much happier, neat and confidence with yourself when wooing at the opposite sex. You will attract more attention from the opposite sex. This also base on those people going out for a first date. You will have a higher chance of getting more chances to get more attention from a lady/man. So take that in mind, Bath yourself well.

For the gentleman: It is advice not to paste any sex related material like sex related posters etc. In your bedroom. You will properly lose your 'yang' energy if you face these materials too much. In Feng Shui, color is also an important aspect in romance related topics. For instance, green color is always not advice to paint on the wall of your bedroom. Feng Shui tips for your home:
There should beno shoes or slippers lying around outside the main door of your house. Remove it if you can. Allow that space at the main door to be free and clear. The chi (energy) rides with the wind and will collect all the smell of those shoes and slippers into your house causing sickness.
Ch'i then travels about in your house looking for water to stay but if there are no water fountains or fish tanks, then the Ch'i will be dispersed by wind.
There should beno television sets in your bedrooms: If you cannot get rid of that habit then after watching the television covers it with a plastic table cloth. Remember it has to be plastic and not simply cloth.
There should beno mirrors opposite your bed or at the side of your bed. Mirrors opposite the bed can attract a third party to the relationship. Therefore, do not place mirrors anywhere you like and especially in your bedroom.
Place an indoor water fountain in your home, position in a favorable area to attract whatever you want in your life.
If you already have a fish tank in your house, be careful. A fish tank placed correctly can bring about greater fortune , as you will tap on the 'Divine Water Dragon's Den'. But if you tap wrongly, it can cause you to have lawsuits, bankruptcy, work pressure, troubles and problems. If you noticed any of these after placing the fish tank for approximately four months, shift your fish tank to another location.

Water Features:
A fish tank or fountain in the Water (North) or Wood (East & South East) sectors of a property are superb good fortune enhancers. It is often advised that the aquarium is placed to the left side of the main door to attract money. The direction is taken when one is standing inside looking out.
Try not to allow children to sleep on mattresses on the floor. Yes, this allows young children not to fall off beds but it also causes young children to fall sick frequently. The reason is: chi is not able to flow underneath the bed. Ideally, chi should circulate around the mattress where our children sleep to allow them to be healthy.
For young children, try to have their back to the wall when they write. It is important there should be a solid wall behind a children's writing table. This allows the child to have support so that he can sit there and study longer rather than for only half an hour and then they tend to move about because there is no solid wall behind their back. Adjust your writing table.
Do not allow children to sleep on double bunk beds even if it means saving sp ace. The child sleeping underneath will not have 'fresh chi' and so his health might be weak. But if due to space constraints, then monitor your child's health if not add in a metal 6 rods wind chime or a crystal sphere, to break up the 'stale chi' around his bed.
Your bed should always have a solid wall behind you. This is important if you wish to have a good rest. A solid wall simply means that you can go into deeper sleep and therefore enabling you to have good rest so that when you wake up in the morning, you will feel fresh and well rested. This also allows you to be able to concentrate on your work better.
There should be no beam on top of your bed. The beam above cause's chi to be pressured thus enabling you to have pressures in life. Therefore, don't place furniture underneath it or alternatively level the beam. But make sure if you choose the latter, it is important that you have enough height for that space.
If you have a lot of work pressure, maybe it's the marble table that you have in your dinning room that causes you to have those problems. Remove that marble table and change to a wooden one or alternatively live with that work pressure!
If your child usually falls sick in that bedroom: Then either change them to another bedroom or simply hang a six rod metal wind chime as the metal element will break all the earth energies in that room. After hanging, if the wind could not do the job for you then you will have to 'chime' it yourself and then watch for the good results.
Do not use a red sofa set: The color red represent the element of fire. And for Feng Shui, some places simply cannot have the color red in that sector. For example: the wealth area or some other sectors which without a Feng Shui check would be unable to tell you where it is. A red sofa sets gives rise to heavy work pressure, troubles and obstacles.
Always open your bedroom windows at least once 20 minutes a day to allow fresh chi to come in, we do this so that it allows fresh new chi from outside to come into your bedroom, if not you will be sleeping with stale chi every night.
And if that happens, then how can you expect your life to bring in more good fortune to come to you? So open that window and never mind if dusts comes in! The great good fortune that you can have will far exceeds the time you take to clean off the dust.
Two of Everything: Keep objects such as ornaments of animals in pairs, particularly if you wish to enhance relationship success. Single items, especially photos of yourself on your own, could signify loneliness.
Position of Bed: When you are lying in bed, your feet should not directly face the door, since this is known as the 'coffin' position and is very inauspicious!
'Feng Shui' is not superstitious thing to believe. Up till today, many businessman, professionals and even billionaires still choose to believe it. I don't think anyone likes to go against Feng Shui. If you feel believe in Feng Shui is superstitious, why not paint your living room's wall in red color or dark grey color?

A suicide note left by a troubled South Florida teen has sparked a extensive investigation into the meaning or identity of "kthxbai".
The parents of the teen have expressed nothing but puzzlement at the bizarre signature supposedly left by their son of seventeen years. "[our son] was always a good kid." The boys mother said during an interview, "though he did spend all of his time sitting at his computer".
The case, which was originally concluded to be an obvious suicide, has recently been re-opened after the parents demanded a more in-depth investigation considering the seemingly random group of letters the teen used to sign his final farewell.
"At first we thought it was some kind of 'word jumble' our boy left us in his final farewell", said the boys father, "We spent two weeks trying to figure it out, but it led us no where."
Extensive Investigation
The Miami Police Dept. have enlisted the assistance of their computer crimes task force to find out if there is more to this situation than a standard suicide.
"This is one of the harder tasks that we've dealt with here, simply because the only person who knows
what these letters, [kthxbai], mean has taken this knowledge to the grave", states Felicia Reven, lead detective of the Computer Crimes Task Force in Miami.
Currently, the Miami P.D. has five Detectives from the Computer Crime Task Force utilizing the majority of their high-tech machines to track down and decipher the 'code', and they estimate that it could take up to six weeks before they see any results.

But the others don't see my viewpoint and complained all the way, as though its my fault that they were forced into watching the movie with me.
Dinner was at Triple3, the seemly-young manager that served us reminded me of a Japanese actress, so I can't help but beo beo her every now and then. The food and variety was pretty good, but I couldn't finish everything they served. So I helped myself to whatever I could get my hands on - oh especially the deserts, the sweet sweet chocolates and ice-cream.
To me, its well worth it; the food, the quick services, and lovely birthday song by the live band and the chocolate cake with a candle on it. It was really nice to feel like I was really celebrating my birthday for once. To my friends, it was a disaster on their pockets and naturally, I was to blamed for their misadventures. Ironically, I was one of the few who had the least income, if any at all.
This was my first birthday celebration in my life, but it was somewhat misforgiving even though I had done everything I would have liked. I guess I'm not fated for celebrations of this kind, and probably would be my last.
But I am satisfied, for I have done everything I could to make it work. I feel appreciative and glad, to celebrate my birthday normally, for once. =)
It's my birthday today.
Every year at this time, I'll think about the previous years and what should I do from now on. Although I have decided a long time ago, things could always change.
Life is unpreditable, no matter how talented one can be, there is no foretelling what will happen a decade from now. The path we will walk, can be decided in advanced. And for whatever decisions can be made, I must also be just as ready to give everything up.
To me, that is life.
For the previous year, things has been rather unpleasant, and I shall expect no less to this one. But I'll live and move on, because I have decided to live my life as I seem fit. I'll decide my own future, as always, for better or worse. Only I can determine what is right for myself.
To me, this is my way of life.

An old client found me to do up two more web sites last week. I'm surprised that anyone would look for me for web design after such a long time, and wanted me to develop a social network site too.
I have not promise them anything yet, especially the networking site. I'm outta touch, I don't have the confidence to put the project in place.
But it does feel nostalgia. I remember I did up my first website in the mid 90s, when I was around Primary 6. There was only notepad as I patiently went through a HTML 3 book for beginners. I remember the computer was new too, my first computer. It was wonderful.
I had never touched a computer before, but I found the idea of the web very interesting. So I wanted to make my presence known on the web, like saying, "I am here, these designs are me."

Tomorrow horoscope says my luck will be plain. Lucky colour is gray and lucky item is an alarm clock. My mood will not be stable so I must exercise extra caution.
